Academic Mentor – Hounslow – September 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term‑Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025

A successful all-through school in Hounslow is seeking an Academic Mentor to join them in September 2025.
This Academic Mentor role is ideal for graduates with strong A-Levels and a relevant degree, or tutoring experience in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, or Humanities. As an Academic Mentor, you’ll provide targeted academic support, work alongside teachers and the SENCo, and help pupils deepen their subject understanding.

- Delivering 1:1 and small‑group sessions to reinforce classroom learning
- Adapting resources to meet diverse learning needs
- Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teachers
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above at university in your specialist subject
- A‑Level (or equivalent) at A*–B in the same subject
- GCSE grades 9–7 in relevant subjects
- Proven tutoring or classroom support experience
- Excellent communication, patience and enthusiasm
- Availability for the full 2025/26 academic year
