Academic Mentor – Hounslow – November 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: November 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: Minimum £444 per week (PAYE)

Are you a graduate who enjoys supporting students with their academic progress and confidence?
This Academic Mentor role in Hounslow is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help pupils reach their full potential in the classroom. As an Academic Mentor, you’ll provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who need an extra boost in core subjects. The Academic Mentor will work closely with teachers to reinforce lesson content, encourage good study habits, and help pupils stay motivated and focused.
In this Academic Mentor position, you’ll gain experience in lesson support, targeted intervention, and pupil mentoring—perfect preparation for those considering teaching, tutoring, or educational psychology. - Support pupils with literacy, numeracy, and study skills
- Run small group interventions to reinforce classroom learning
- Help pupils stay on task and confident in lessons
- Monday–Friday (08:30–15:30, term-time only)
We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2:1 degree in English, Maths, Science, or similar
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Enthusiastic, patient, and approachable attitude
- Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply
