What you’ll be doing as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Supporting ASC children and those with SEMH needs across the classroom and in specialist settings
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions focused on emotional regulation, routines, and communication
- Helping implement structured behaviour plans and autism-friendly strategies
- Building safe, trusting relationships with pupils who thrive on consistency
- Promoting independence, engagement, and self-confidence through patient, tailored support
We’re looking for a Behaviour Mentor who:
- Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Sociology, or a related subject
- Has an interest in autism support, behaviour intervention, and child development
- Can remain calm, consistent, and nurturing – especially during moments of dysregulation
- Has experience working with children, ideally with additional needs or neurodiversity
- Is available full-time from September 2025 – July 2026
