Work Placement Opportunity for an Aspiring Psychologist


Role: Aspiring Psychologist
Location: Feltham, Hounslow
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: c.£25,000 pro rata


We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Aspiring Psychologist to join a supportive specialist school community in West London. This is an ideal opportunity for an Aspiring Psychologist who is passionate about supporting children, bringing energy to the classroom and helping pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally.


About the Aspiring Psychologist Role
As an Aspiring Psychologist, you will work as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist primary school for children with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, including autism. The Aspiring Psychologist will collaborate with teachers and therapists to support communication, behaviour and individual learning needs, creating a nurturing, stimulating environment.


Aspiring Psychologist - Key Responsibilities
  • Support individual pupils and small groups to access the curriculum.
  • Assist with therapeutic activities and behaviour-support strategies.
  • Foster a positive, joyful atmosphere where pupils feel safe and valued.
  • Contribute creative ideas to classroom activities, sensory projects and school events.
