Aspiring SEND Teacher (SEND Teaching Assistant)
Location: Belsize Park, Camden
Pay: £450 to £500 per week PAYE
Start: January 2026
End: July 2026
Contract: Long-term, with the chance to secure a permanent role and teacher training support
A welcoming secondary school in Belsize Park is looking for an Aspiring SEND Teacher to join them as a SEND Teaching Assistant from January 2026. This role is ideal for a graduate who wants to train as a teacher and is keen to build excellent school-based SEND experience first.
As a SEND TA, you will support pupils across KS3 and KS4, working closely with the SENDCo and teaching staff. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, both in lessons and through targeted interventions, helping pupils access the curriculum, develop independence, and make sustained progress. You will also assist with behaviour and regulation strategies, track pupil outcomes, and contribute to personalised learning plans.

- Moderate learning difficulties (MLD) or broader cognition and learning needs
