Autism Support Assistant – Greenwich
Are you a high-achieving Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a school environment? We are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich, supporting students aged 11–16 with additional needs and targeted interventions.
As an Autism Support Assistant, you will work closely with students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, focusing on those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), as well as associated needs such as ADHD and anxiety. You’ll be part of a dynamic support team, contributing to both the academic and emotional development of students through one-to-one and small group work.

Autism Support Assistant - In this role, you will:
- Support students with Autism in mainstream lessons, working alongside classroom teachers
- Deliver targeted interventions that promote emotional regulation and social communication
- Work in partnership with the SEND department to track and support student progress
- Help pupils build independence, confidence, and effective learning routines
Autism Support Assistant - We are looking for:
- A First-Class or 2:1 degree in Psychology (or a related subject)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine passion for working with neurodiverse young people
- Availability to commit to the full academic year from September 2025
