Biology Tutor and Pastoral Officer | Role Overview:

- Contract: Full-time, term-time only | Biology Tutor and Pastoral Officer
- Salary: £444 per week (PAYE, incl. holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities | Biology Tutor and Pastoral Officer:
Pastoral (Year 7 Focus):
- Support the smooth transition of Year 7 students into secondary school
- Monitor and encourage attendance, punctuality, and wellbeing
- Act as a key pastoral point of contact for students, parents, and staff
- Maintain organised locker/personal spaces for students
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group Biology sessions for A-Level students
- Clarify complex topics, assist with exam prep, and build confidence
- Work closely with the Science department to align academic support
What We’re Looking For | Biology Tutor and Pastoral Officer:
- A Biology or related science graduate (2:1 or above; Russell Group preferred)
- Achieved an A* or A in A-Level Biology
- Passion for both academic teaching and student wellbeing
