• Delivering specialist BSL support to pupils across the primary age range
  
  
• Supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  
  
• Working alongside class teachers and SEN staff to adapt learning materials
  
  
• Supporting pupils’ communication, confidence and social development
  
  
• Helping to ensure classrooms remain accessible and inclusive
  
  

  BSL Learning Support Assistant | Person Specification

• A recognised BSL Level 4 qualification (minimum)
  
  
• Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired children in a school or child-centred setting
  
  
• A calm, patient and proactive approach
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• A genuine commitment to inclusive education

Contract and Pay

• Pay: £444 per week (term-time only, pro rata)
  
  
• Contract: Full-time, long-term
  
  
• Duration: January – July (with potential to extend)
