Classroom Support Worker – Richmond – September 2025 Start
Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only (39 weeks)
Hours: 08:45–15:30, Monday to Friday (32.5 hours per week)
Pay: £21,684 per annum (Pro Rata) – Outer London
Start Date: September 2025 or as soon as possible

As a Classroom Support Worker, you’ll be based in a class of around 6–8 pupils, providing one-to-one and small group support across the school day. You’ll be helping pupils regulate their emotions, participate in lessons, and develop essential life skills.

- Working with pupils with autism and learning needs across KS1–KS4
- Supporting emotional regulation and communication, including the use of visuals and sensory strategies
- Assisting with personal care where required (full training provided)
- Engaging in creative sessions including art, outdoor learning and music therapy
- Liaising closely with teachers and therapists to deliver consistent, high-quality support
We’re looking for:
- Experience with SEND, either in education, youth work or care settings
- Calm, patient and emotionally attuned individuals
- Commitment to full-time, term-time working
