About the Design Technology Teacher role:

• Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
  
  
• Join a collaborative 6-person Design Technology department
  
  
• Focus on student progress and attainment in Design Technology
  
  
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers
  
  
• Play a proactive role in behaviour management and SEND support
  
  
• Contribute creatively to curriculum planning and delivery
  
  
• Lead lessons with confidence and adaptability
  
  
• Be part of a team working towards middle and senior leadership roles
  
  

 

What we’re looking for in a Design Technology Teacher:

• 1:1 related degree from a top 20 UK university
  
  
• QTS and experience working in a school environment
  
  
• Strong classroom management skills, especially around behaviour
  
  
• Confidence in supporting students with SEND
  
  
• Flexibility, creativity, and a proactive attitude
  
  
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
