Are you an ambitious Economics Graduate looking to become an Economics Teacher?

An ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Tower Hamlets, that consistently achieves some of the highest GCSE and A-Level results in the country, is seeking an Economics Tutor to support students across KS4 and KS5.

As an Economics Tutor, you’ll work with pupils in KS4 to KS5, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. You’ll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in Economics.

Economics Tutor | Key Responsibilities

• Providing in-class support in Economics lessons
• Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students
• Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking
• Support students in KS4 & KS5 with Economics

This role is ideal for any aspiring Economics Teacher and offers an exceptional opportunity to gain experience as an Economics Tutor in one of the UK’s top-performing schools.

Economics Tutor | We’re looking for

• A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Economics or a related subject from a Top 10 UK University
• Outstanding academic record, including excellent A-Level and GCSE results
• Confidence in supporting A-Level Economics students
• A genuine interest in education and social development
• Commitment from October 2025 to July 2026
