This English ECT role is perfect for someone who loves literature and language and wants to help students develop a lifelong appreciation for both.


English ECT – Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4
• Develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Receive weekly mentoring and participate in CPD opportunities
• Take part in extracurricular activities such as debating or book clubs

What We’re Looking For:

• UK QTS (or working towards it by July 2025)
• A degree in English or a related subject
• Strong classroom presence and creative lesson ideas
• Commitment to inclusive and engaging teaching
