This permanent, full-time role is ideal for an experienced English specialist ready to teach KS3–KS4 while leading on curriculum, mentoring colleagues, and driving departmental progress.

 
This is an ideal opportunity for a current English Teacher looking to step into middle leadership within a supportive school that values strong teaching, reflective practice, and cross-departmental collaboration.

 
English Teacher + TLR – Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3–KS4
• Take a lead on curriculum, pedagogy or assessment strategy
• Mentor colleagues or contribute to ECT development
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

 
Person Specification:

• UK QTS and English or Humanities-related degree
• 3+ years’ teaching experience preferred
• Track record of strong pupil progress and engagement
• Experience or interest in mentoring others
