Experienced HLTA | Harrow | September 2025 Start
A supportive two-form entry primary school in Harrow is seeking an experienced HLTA to join their dedicated team from September 2025.
 
This HLTA role is ideal for qualified teachers who are looking to step away from full-time teaching responsibilities but still wish to remain closely involved in education, as well as for current HLTAs ready to expand their impact.
 
HLTA | Role Summary:

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher or during PPA cover
• Lead small group interventions and contribute to planning where appropriate
• Promote a nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment

 
HLTA | Candidate Profile:

• Holds QTS or meets HLTA professional standards through relevant experience
• Ideally has a degree in Education or a related field
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a UK primary school (as a Primary Teacher)
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Confident leading a class and managing behaviour effectively
