Are you an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher looking to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school this January?

 
A small, 1-form entry primary school in Wandsworth is searching for an EYFS Teacher to join their expanding Early Years team. This EYFS Teacher position is open to Unqualified Teachers, Nursery Teachers or qualified Nursery Nurses (Level 3+) who are passionate about Early Years education. The school also welcomes those with Early Years QTS seeking a new challenge as an EYFS Teacher in a supportive, community-focused environment.

About the School:

• 1-form entry community primary school for ages 2–11
• Based in a beautiful classical building with modern facilities and large outdoor spaces
• Expanding Early Years provision: new 2-year-old (24 pupils) and 3-year-old (32 pupils) settings, with a 9-month provision launching in January
• High EAL population (around 60%) with over 49 languages spoken
• Recently restructured SLT, bringing fresh vision and collaborative leadership
• Five new teachers, including three ECTs, creating an energetic and positive atmosphere
• Values-led approach to recruitment – “skills can be taught”
• Mornings focused on early academic development, with afternoons offering enrichment and play-based learning

 
The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons within EYFS
• Supporting children’s learning, development and well-being through play and structured activities
• Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with the EYFS Lead and wider Early Years team to maintain high standards of care and learning

 
We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (Early Years) or Level 3+ Early Years qualification
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
• Positive, nurturing approach with excellent communication skills
• Experience working within Nursery or Reception settings
