What you can expect as a Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant:
- Full-time, long-term contract starting September 2025
- Competitive weekly pay via PAYE
- One-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN and SEMH
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and on-site specialists in a purpose-built, supportive environment
- A strong foundation for careers in Educational Psychology, Teaching, CAMHS, or Speech and Language Therapy
Your role will include:
- Supporting children’s academic and emotional development throughout the school day
- Assisting with communication and behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs
- Creating a calm, nurturing presence for students with additional learning or emotional needs
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to deliver consistent, structured support
- Tracking and adapting approaches to support each pupil’s progress
Who we’re looking for:
- A Psychology graduate (2:1 or above) from a UK university
- Someone with a calm, empathetic, and proactive mindset
- A team player who works well in a structured and collaborative environment
- Someone with a clear interest in SEN, child development or trauma-informed practice
- Any prior experience with young people, especially in SEN, care, or youth work, is a bonus
