We are seeking an aspiring teacher to undertake the role of Science Academic Mentor in a top Secondary School in Havering.
First-Class Science Graduate | About the Role
- Term-time-only position
- Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
- Earn up to £105 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly in arrears via PAYE
- Large Secondary School in Havering
- Supporting students from Year 7 through to Year 13, including high achievers applying to top universities
- Working alongside an experienced team of teachers and support staff
- Providing classroom support, 1:1 sessions and small-group interventions
- Supporting students of all abilities with equal care and high expectations
- A First-Class Science degree from a Top 20 UK University
- Strong A-Level and GCSE results to support your academic profile
- An interest in progressing into Teacher Training, a PGCE, or a long-term role working with children
- Ability to support learning up to KS5 (desirable)
- Previous tutoring experience is advantageous
- Passionate about supporting students from diverse backgrounds in an inclusive environment
