Are you an outgoing, flexible, and charismatic individual seeking a role working with secondary school students in an Alternative Provision as a Food & Technology Teacher?
If you hold UK QTS and have relevant teaching experience, ideally with some experience supporting children with SEMH needs, then this Food & Technology Teacher role would be perfect for you.

This Food & Technology Teacher position is based at a rapidly expanding Alternative Provision, conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Blackheath station and close to the bustling high street, filled with bars and restaurants.
The school boasts exceptional facilities, including individual iPads for each student. Additionally, a second site has opened featuring a fully equipped food technology suite and workshop space.

Food & Technology Teacher | Job Summary
- Food & Technology Teacher – Commencing in May or September (Permanent)
- Full-time term-time only Food & Technology Teacher role
- Work alongside qualified SEMH professionals and Specialist Teachers
- Role paying Inner London M1–UPS3
- Teach Food & Technology across Key Stages 3–5, supporting students with practical skills and preparation for GCSEs
- Deliver engaging lessons for small groups of up to 6 students and on a 1:1 basis
- Support students with SEMH, ASD, trauma-inflicted backgrounds, and behavioural challenges
- Assist with all aspects of the school day, integrating Food & Technology teaching with holistic care
- Provide the best educational experience for children in an Alternative Provision setting
