Graduate Learning Mentor – Hounslow – September 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025
Are you a confident and empathetic graduate interested in supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs?
A welcoming secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor to work with students needing extra encouragement and guidance. As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you’ll help students overcome learning barriers, improve attendance and build confidence in and out of the classroom.
This Graduate Learning Mentor role is ideal for someone with a passion for youth work, education or psychology, especially if you’re considering further study or training in these fields.
Key responsibilities:
Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot accept overseas degrees (even with a UK Master’s). Sponsorship is not available.

- Providing behaviour and pastoral support to students in KS3 and KS4
- Helping pupils stay focused in class and regulate emotions
- Leading reflective 1:1 mentoring sessions
- Liaising with teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support
- A 2:1 or above in Psychology, Criminology or a related subject
- Experience working with young people in any setting
- A calm, professional and consistent approach
- Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
