📅 Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)

We’re now recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant boys’ secondary school in Barnet, North London, for the full 2025–2026 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience before pursuing teacher training, educational psychology, or a related pathway.
Whether your degree is in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, or Psychology, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and support pupils aged 11–18.

What you’ll do as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- Provide academic support across your subject specialism in lessons, small groups, and 1:1 settings
- Work closely with students who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, or low literacy/numeracy
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to deliver targeted interventions and classroom assistance
- Develop positive relationships with students and contribute to their academic and emotional progress
- A First-Class or 2:1 degree in a core academic subject or Psychology
- Ideally from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people
- Commitment to the full academic year from September 2025 to July 2026
- Gain invaluable experience ahead of a PGCE, Teach First, Ed Psych doctorate, or related course
