The Role of a Head of Science & Requirements:

• Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring high-quality teaching.
• Teach Science across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level.
• Develop and implement strategies to raise student attainment.
• Mentor and support Science teachers, fostering professional growth.
• Hold QTS (or equivalent) with experience in teaching and leadership.
• BSc or higher degree (minimum 2:1) from a UK recognised university.
• Proven track record of raising student achievement in Science.
