At Ribbons & Reeves we have an exciting new role that is custom fit for History Graduates who are ready to begin a career in Education. One of our schools in Havering are searching for a History Teaching Assistant who is ready to support Secondary School children with learning and attainment.

 This job is a fantastic opportunity that offers on-the-job training that will equip History Graduates with the fundamentals of Teaching whilst surrounded by outstanding colleagues.

 
History Graduate | Job Summary

• £90-£100 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly via PAYE
• Opportunities for rapid career progression
• Working with KS3,4,5 children on a whole class, small group and 1:1 basis
• Class-based experience that provides you with a great foundation for Teacher Training
• Specialised on-the-job training
• Helping to deliver the curriculum in an innovative, interactive way
• Support an experienced member of the History Department
• Work with outstanding colleagues who will be beneficial in your training

 
To thrive in this role as an History Graduate, you must hold either a 1:1 or 2:1 Degree from a top 20 UK University. Also be able to demonstrate a high level of organisation, problem solving and engaging teaching. It is preferred that you will have some child centred experience.
