The school offers a nurturing environment where a love of learning is actively encouraged and Humanities subjects, particularly History and Geography, are highly valued.

As a History/Geography Graduate, you’ll provide targeted academic support to pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping them build confidence, master subject knowledge, and develop key analytical and writing skills. Whether you're supporting pupils 1:1, leading small group sessions, or working alongside experienced teachers in class, your role will have a real impact.


The Role: History/Geography Graduate Mentor

• Deliver tailored support in History and/or Geography lessons
  
  
• Lead small-group and 1:1 interventions
  
  
• Help pupils develop essay-writing, source analysis, and geographical thinking skills
  
  
• Track progress and assist with assessment and feedback
  
  
• Work closely with teachers to adapt support strategies for individual learners
  
  

We’re Looking For:

• A History or Geography Graduate with a 2:1 or above from a top UK university
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
  
  
• Experience with young people (tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering)
  
  
• A genuine passion for education and the Humanities
  
  

What the School Offers:

• £450–£550 per week | PAYE | Term-time only
  
  
• Full-time role from September 2025 to July 2026
  
  
• Weekly CPD and mentoring
  
  
• Opportunities to progress into teacher training
