This Richmond-based school is looking for a History Graduate to join their Humanities department from September 2025. As a History Graduate, you will support teachers and pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping to deliver engaging lessons on topics such as the Tudors, World War II, and Civil Rights.

 
This History Graduate role is a fantastic opportunity for someone considering a PGCE or a career in education, museums, or heritage. The school will give the History Graduate hands-on experience, including leading revision sessions, supporting students with SEN, and helping to plan resources.

 
As a History Graduate, you’ll become a valued part of a dynamic department, working with pupils from a range of backgrounds. You’ll also support extracurricular activities, such as historical site visits or lunchtime clubs.

 
History Graduate – Key Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 and with small groups in Humanities
• Assist teachers with lesson prep and resources
• Deliver focused interventions and revision help
• Support historical enrichment activities

 
Person Specification:

• 2:1 or higher in History or related subject
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a love of learning
