We are supporting a specialist independent school in Outer London in the appointment of a Humanities Teacher to join from September 2026.

- Position: Humanities Teacher (History, Geography & Religious Education)
- Location: Barnet
- Start Date: September 2026
- Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: M1-M6 Outer London
The Ideal Humanities Teacher
We are looking for a teacher who:
Essential:
- Holds QTS
- Has experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
- Can confidently deliver across KS3 (KS2/KS4 experience beneficial)
- Has strong subject knowledge across History, Geography and/or RE
- Is committed to inclusive education and student wellbeing
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Experience working in a SEND or specialist setting
- Familiarity with autism-informed or trauma-informed approaches
- Experience teaching GCSE Humanities
