Intervention Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
- Lead focused intervention sessions with high-attaining pupils
- Deliver academic support to small groups, with a focus on progress and attainment
- Work closely with SEND pupils, including those with Autism
- Communicate effectively with staff and parents to support pupil development
- Help maintain high standards of behaviour within the classroom
- Follow and enhance curriculum content through creative support
- Assist in monitoring pupil progress and adapting strategies accordingly
- Play a key role within a collaborative and high-achieving team
- Provide tailored academic and emotional support to pupils
Intervention Assistant – Candidate Requirements:
- 1:1 Degree from a top 20 UK University
- Confident working with behaviour management strategies
- Supportive and proactive, especially when working with SEND pupils
- Flexible, creative, and adaptive approach to classroom challenges
- Previous experience supporting pupils with Autism is essential
- Clear desire to pursue teacher training in the near future
