Are you a Psychology graduate from a top UK university with a First-Class or high 2:1 degree? Ready to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional learning needs?
We’re recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant role at an inclusive all-boys secondary school in Islington, working with students aged 11–13. This is a perfect opportunity for aspiring educational psychologists, therapists, or those pursuing a career in mental health.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work in both mainstream classrooms and 1:1 settings, supporting students with Autism, ADHD and other SEND needs. You’ll be part of a talented team of Learning Support Assistants, each with a Psychology-focused academic background.
The school’s SENDCo – a qualified therapist and psychologist – will provide guidance throughout the year, helping you grow in confidence and skill. This placement is designed to springboard you into further study or employment in education, mental health, or therapeutic support.
