Learning Support Assistant – West London – September 2025 Start
 

Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

Are you a graduate looking to work as a Learning Support Assistant in Year 6 from September?

 
A Primary School in Hounslow, is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils in Year 6. This role is ideal for graduates interested in careers in education, teacher training, or working with children with additional needs.

The Role:
  • Supporting pupils in Year 6 with learning across reading, writing, and maths
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils needing extra help
  • Assisting pupils who may not always remain in the mainstream classroom full-time
  • Working closely with the Year 6 teachers and SEN team to deliver targeted support
 

Interview Process:
  • Informal and relaxed chat with the Deputy Headteacher
  • Followed by time in class supporting the teacher and pupils
  • Straightforward, one-stage process
 

We’re looking for:
  • A graduate with a UK degree in Education, Psychology, or a related subject
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people
  • An Enhanced DBS
