The Role

The pupils in question are a mix of age groups, both male and female, and each either needs support academically, or socially. A couple display (non-violent) behaviour needs within class, so as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant you will be required to offer stability in class to ensure the environment around them is as engaging as possible! Work alongside the Teaching team and the school SENCo to plan and prepare engaging, fun sessions, and help these students to integrate, develop social skills, and of course support academic levels.

 
Ideally, you must;

• Have previous experience working in a Secondary School
• Be a team player
• Demonstrate commitment, dedication and resilience in your work
• Have the ability and attitude needed to effectively manage challenging behaviour
