Learning Support Assistant - Kensington & Chelsea

Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – What’s in it for you?
- Full-time, term-time position starting September 2025
- £95–£105 per day (PAYE), depending on experience
- Work closely with children in Reception to Year 6 with diverse needs
- Gain invaluable classroom and pastoral experience – ideal for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, or SEN specialists

- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs
- Adapt learning materials and activities to meet pupils’ individual targets
- Support children in developing confidence, social skills, and resilience
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies
- Help create a calm, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures independence
- Contribute to children’s wellbeing by encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Previous experience supporting children (school, nursery, tutoring, or youth work) is highly desirable
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable individual with a genuine passion for supporting young learners
- Interest in SEN, child development, or pursuing a long-term career in education or psychology
- Degree holders welcome, but not essential – personality, resilience, and enthusiasm are key
