Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Your duties will include:
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social or emotional challenges.
- Supporting pupils to access the curriculum by adapting and differentiating learning activities.
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils remain engaged and focused in lessons.
- Working closely with teachers to prepare resources, set up activities, and support day-to-day classroom learning.
The Ideal Candidate
We are keen to hear from individuals who:
- Have experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN environment.
- Are caring, patient, and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
- Show flexibility, initiative, and confidence when supporting a range of learning needs.
