Are you a compassionate and motivated Linguistics Graduate ready to make a real difference as you work towards becoming a Speech and Language Therapist?
Perhaps you’re a Linguistics Graduate preparing to apply for a Master’s program and looking for essential experience working with children along the way?
Linguistics Graduate | What we’re looking for An exceptional First-Class Linguistics Graduate will join us as a Speech and Language Assistant in Barking & Dagenham, starting immediately and continuing through July 2025. You’ll provide valuable 1:1 support to pupils with Speech and Language needs.
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Compensation: £444+ per week, paid on a PAYE basis, including holiday pay
Qualifications: Ideal for Linguistics graduates, though Psychology graduates will also be considered
Perfect for: Aspiring Speech and Language Therapists seeking hands-on experience in a supportive school environment
Linguistics Graduate | Key Responsibilities You’ll work closely with pupils across Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, supporting their development through engaging 1:1 sessions while collaborating with the school’s SENCO to ensure a nurturing environment.

- Delivering tailored sessions to improve language comprehension, sound articulation, and active listening

- Making a positive impact on children’s communication skills
