Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant – Intervention & Small Group Support
Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £105.00 per day (PAYE)

A high-performing secondary school in Wandsworth is searching for a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3 and KS4. This Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant role will see you delivering targeted interventions and small group support sessions to pupils needing extra help in numeracy and problem-solving.
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Maths department and SENDCo to provide tailored support, helping students improve confidence and close learning gaps. The school has a strong track record of developing graduates into future teachers via salaried routes and teacher training.

- Work with pupils across Years 7–11, supporting their progress in Maths
- Lead small group sessions to revise core skills and prepare for GCSEs
- Help design engaging numeracy-based resources
- Support the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
Who are we looking for?
- A recent Maths graduate (2:1 or above)
- Someone confident, patient and keen to work with young people
- Ideally some prior experience tutoring or mentoring
- Full availability from September 2025
