Pastoral Teaching Assistant | The Role:

• Provide 1:1, small-group, and in-class pastoral support for pupils facing behavioural, emotional, or wellbeing challenges.
• Lead restorative conversations to rebuild relationships and return pupils to learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and the pastoral team to deliver consistent, effective interventions.
• Be a visible presence across the school, proactively supporting pupils before issues escalate.

Pastoral Teaching Assistant | Who We’re Looking For

• A calm, confident, and adaptable individual with a genuine interest in pastoral care.
• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs, through school, youth work, mentoring, or similar roles.
• Able to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
• A graduate with a UK Bachelor’s Degree.
