Key responsibilities for the Physical Education Teacher:

• Lead exciting and engaging PE lessons across all key stages
  
  
• Join a collaborative and experienced 8-person PE team
  
  
• Promote positive behaviour management and discipline in line with school policies
  
  
• Confidently support students with SEND in lessons
  
  
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that meet curriculum objectives
  
  
• Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and competitions
  
  
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
  
  
• Help raise progress and attainment across PE
  
  
• Be a proactive Physical Education Teacher keen to contribute to whole-school life
  
  

 

What we’re looking for in a Physical Education Teacher:

• 1:1 Physical Education or related degree from a top 20 UK university
  
  
• QTS and experience or confidence delivering PE lessons
  
  
• Strong and consistent approach to behaviour management
  
  
• Creative, flexible, and adaptable teaching style
  
  
• Team player with excellent communication skills
  
  
• Ambition to progress into middle or senior leadership
