  • Delivering subject-specific support in Physics across Secondary and Sixth Form pupils

  • Running small group or 1:1 interventions to raise attainment and build confidence

  • Supporting targeted interventions, progress tracking, and exam preparation

  • Assisting classroom teachers with planning and delivery of lessons

Physics Academic Mentor - What the School is Looking For The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree in Physics or a closely related subject from a Top 10 UK University. Previous experience working with young people in a child-centred capacity is highly valued. Schools are looking for proactive, compassionate, and committed individuals with excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.

Physics Academic Mentor - Salary and Contract Info
  • £450–£530 per week, pro rata to term time only

  • Contract: One Term

  • Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
