Physics Teacher | Lewisham | September Start

Are you a Physics Teacher looking for a new role from September?

A well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a Physics Teacher to join their Science department from September. This role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher who enjoys delivering clear, structured lessons and helping pupils understand key physical principles.

You will be teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for a suitably experienced candidate. The Science department is well organised and supportive, with a strong focus on practical work and exam preparation.

Physics Teacher – Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Physics across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
• Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons
• Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment
• Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes

Person Specification:
• QTS and a degree in Physics or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
• Experience teaching GCSE Physics (A-Level desirable)
• Able to deliver safe and effective practical lessons
