Key responsibilities of the Receptionist and Medical Lead:
  • Be the first point of contact for all visitors, parents and students
  • Manage telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of reception and administrative duties
  • Act as the school’s Medical Lead, providing first aid and managing student medical plans
  • Maintain accurate medical and attendance records in line with safeguarding procedures
  • Liaise with parents, staff and external health professionals regarding student wellbeing
  • Support wider school operations, events and daily logistics as needed
Person specification for the Receptionist and Medical Lead:
  • Warm, professional and highly organised individual
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in an administrative, front-of-house or healthcare setting desirable
  • Current First Aid at Work certificate (or willingness to complete training)
