Religious Studies / Sociology Graduate – Learning Support Assistant

Kensington & Chelsea – September 2025 Start Are you a recent Religious Studies or Sociology Graduate looking to gain practical experience in education? Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs
  • Draw on your subject expertise in Religious Studies or Sociology to encourage debate, reflection, and social awareness
  • Support students with both academic tasks and personal development, promoting resilience and inclusivity
  • Assist teachers and the SENCO in delivering tailored learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive classroom environment and wider school community ethos
Person Specification
  • Degree in Religious Studies, Sociology, Theology, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience supporting young people desirable (e.g., mentoring, tutoring, youth groups, or community projects)
  • Strong communication and empathy skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • A patient, proactive graduate who is passionate about education and young people’s development
