School Finance Officer | Kingston Upon Thames

Are you a looking for a finance opportunity in a school setting and have relevant school finance experience?

We are looking to appoint a keen and highly motivated individual who is a determined and passionate in Finance who will support our schools with their finance processes ensuring our schools deliver a high-quality education to the learners that attend the schools. The postholder will be part of the Regional Finance function and play a large part in delivering a high-quality service to our schools.

 School Finance Officer responsibilities:

• Salary: £28,500.00 - £35,000.00 Annually– Full-time
• To provide Finance support for the school.
• To be aware of and follow the Academies Financial Regulations Handbook, Trust policies and procedures.
• To ensure that the information held on the financial computerised management information systems and/or paper-based filing is compliant, accurate, maintained and adhered to in line with associated financial policies.
• To take responsibility of producing lists/information/data as required.
• To produce letters, documents, undertake typing and other IT based tasks relating to Finance.

School Finance Officer Requirements:

• GSCE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Competent use of IT packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Finance Experience.
• Experience of using FMS and Managing Parent Pay system (or equivalent).
• Good communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
• High level of personal organisation.
• Able to prioritise and manage workload effectively to secure successful outcomes within agreed scheduling·
