At Ribbons and Reeves, we are working with a Secondary School in Barking & Dagenham to find them a School Laboratory Assistant for the 24/25 academic year. We are searching for an impressive Graduate from a leading UK University.  

School Laboratory Assistant | Job Summary

• £90-£100 per day (inclusive of Holiday pay) | Paid on a weekly basis via PAYE
• September start, full time, term-time only
• Science Graduates only
• On-the-job specialised training offered
• Class-based experience
• Opportunity to gain QTS

School Laboratory Assistant | Role

• Working with children on a whole class, small group and 1:1 basis
• Have an acute awareness of health and safety
• Lead experiments on the KS3,4 and 5 curriculums
• Work with other School Laboratory Assistants to cover the workload of the entire Science department
• Get to work with outstanding Science Teachers, and members of the Schools Senior Leadership Team

This School Laboratory Assistant role requires either a 1:1 or 2:1 Science degree, and preferably some child-based experience.
