Role: Science Tutor

Location: Southwark, South London

Pay: £444 – £513 per week (inclusive of holiday pay)

Contract: Full-time, January start, 1-year contract (extension possible)

This Science Tutor role offers practical experience for graduates considering a future in teaching or education.

Science Tutor | The Role:

• Supporting GCSE and A-Level students across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Delivering small group and one-to-one interventions to reinforce key topics.
• Helping pupils develop exam technique and scientific understanding.
• Assisting teachers during lessons and practical activities where required.
• Encouraging curiosity and confidence in science subjects.

 
Science Tutor | Person Specification:

• A 1:1 or 2:1 degree in a science-related subject.
• Secure subject knowledge in at least one science discipline.
• An organised and approachable manner.
• A genuine interest in working with young people.
