SEMH Support – Richmond – September 2025 Start
Are you interested in providing SEMH Support to children in a school setting?
We are looking for a committed SEMH Support practitioner to join a supportive school in Richmond from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone providing SEMH Support to gain practical, hands-on experience assisting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
You will help children manage emotions, develop social skills, engage with lessons, and participate in interventions. The SEMH Support role is ideal for graduates or those considering further study or training in education, social work, or psychology. Providing SEMH Support allows you to learn strategies that support wellbeing, positive behaviour, and classroom engagement.
In this SEMH Support role, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide 1:1 and small group support. You will assist pupils in managing behaviour, developing coping strategies, and accessing learning activities. This position allows you to gain practical SEN experience, develop classroom management skills, and make a positive impact on pupils’ progress.
Through this SEMH Support role, you will build confidence in applying interventions, supporting social-emotional development, and fostering resilience.
