SEN Teacher (ARP) | Barnet | Immediate Start
Are you passionate about supporting children with ASD? A fantastic opportunity has opened in Barnet for a dedicated SEN Teacher or aspiring SEN Teacher to join a newly established ARP within a supportive mainstream primary school.

SEN Teacher | ARP Role Overview
- Full-time, permanent role starting immediately
- Full-time, permanent role starting immediately
- Specialist ARP within a mainstream primary school
- Support a small cohort of EYFS and KS1 pupils with ASD and EHCPs
- Plan and deliver personalised learning, using assessment to inform provision
- Lead and work alongside LSAs
- Support personal and toileting care as required
- Work closely with the SENDCo and communicate regularly with parent
Person Specification – Qualified Teachers
- PGCE with QTS (Primary or SEN)
- Experience or strong interest in supporting pupils with ASD
- Confident leading small groups and 1:1 interventions within a specialist setting
Person Specification – Unqualified Teachers
- Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
- Experience with ASD (desirable)
- Willing to support personal/toilet care
- Understanding of EHCPs or willingness to learn
