Are you a qualified SEN Teacher with a PGCE in Primary and a SEN specialism? A fantastic opportunity has opened in Barnet for a passionate SEN Teacher to join a brand-new ARP supporting EYFS pupils with complex needs.
This exciting role is perfect for a SEN Teacher looking to work in a nurturing, well-resourced mainstream school. As the lead SEN Teacher within the EYFS ARP, you’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team to support children with a range of SEND needs from day one.

SEN Teacher | EYFS ARP Role Overview:
- Full-time, permanent SEN Teacher role starting September
- Based in a newly established EYFS-focused ARP within a mainstream primary school
- Support pupils with ASD, SLCN, SEMH, and GDD
- Deliver personalised, play-based learning following the EYFS and SEND curriculum
- Work closely with SENCO, LSAs, and external therapists to meet EHCP targets
SEN Teacher | Person Specification:
- Primary PGCE with a SEND specialism with QTS
- Proven experience or a strong passion for supporting children in EYFS with additional needs
- Skilled in SEN strategies such as Makaton, PECS, and sensory play
- Confident leading small groups and 1:1 interventions within a specialist setting
