SEN Teacher | Camden | January 2026
A specialist independent day school in Central London is seeking a caring and experienced SEN Teacher to join its Primary team from January 2026 (or February half-term). You will teach small classes across Early Years to Year 2, supporting pupils with speech, language and communication needs, including autistic learners. Working closely with highly skilled Teaching Assistants and an in-house therapy team, you will deliver a personalised curriculum that builds communication, confidence and academic progress.

Salary and benefits
- Salary from £38,100 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, including Central London weighting.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Small classes of around 8 pupils with excellent adult support.
- Daily collaboration with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Creative Therapists.

- Plan and teach engaging Primary lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Assess, track and report on progress, including annual review paperwork.
- Write and review Individual Education Plans and targets.

- Use calm, consistent behaviour strategies to help every child succeed.
- QTS (or equivalent) and at least two years Primary teaching experience.
- Confident teaching EYFS and/or KS1.
- Strong SEN experience, particularly autism and speech, language and communication needs.
- Flexible, creative and team-oriented, with excellent classroom practice.
