SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 2 (1:1 Support)
Location: NW10, Brent
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly independent primary school in NW10, Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in their education.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with SEN and mild autism.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
  • Support the child’s learning, communication, and social development both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Encourage independence while offering emotional and academic support.
  • Adapt activities and resources to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism, is highly desirable.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Enthusiastic and committed to helping children achieve their best.
