SEN Teaching Assistant| The Role:

• Work closely with the school’s SENCO and pastoral team to support students’ emotional wellbeing.
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
• Help develop personalised support plans for students.
• Liaise with external professionals such as CAMHS, Educational Psychologists, and school counsellors.
• Gain hands-on experience in a school setting and receive ongoing training and mentoring.

 
SEN Teaching Assistant| Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology or a related field (or in the process of completing one).
• A genuine interest in mental health and child development.
• Empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
