SEND Teaching Assistant | Newham | Immediate Start

We are working with a warm and inclusive one-form entry primary school in Newham that is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their Additional Resource Provision (ARP). This is a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant role starting immediately.

- Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant in the school’s specialist ARP
- Immediate start - role through to July 2026
- £444-£513 per week (PAYE, term-time only, incl. holiday pay)
- Support pupils with high and complex needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and non-verbal communication
- Provide small group support tailored to individual needs

SEND Teaching Assistant | What We’re Looking For
- Relevant child-centred experience (e.g. working with children in schools, youth work, SEN settings, care roles)
- A strong personality and calm, patient demeanour
- Excellent communication skills - especially with students who struggle with verbal communication
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
- Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a proactive mindset
