Role Overview – SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of additional learning needs
- Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to deliver tailored support plans
- Help to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural development
What we’re looking for - SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a related subject
- Genuine passion for working with young people with SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic, patient, and resilient approach to supporting learners
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
